Recently, we caught up with highly regarded amateur-turned professional cruiserweight Shawndell Winters of Chicago, IL.

Winters trains out of Sam Colonna Boxing Gym, where he has been under the guidance of one of the top trainers in the country dating back to recent amateur success. Colonna guided him to the national Golden Gloves Finals in 2014.

Earlier this year, he made his professional debut and has shown his determination inside the gym and out.

On Saturday, August 22, 2015, Winters is scheduled to step into the Hitz Boxing ring for his second pro bout with eyes on his goals of world dominance.
