A cancelled debut did not deter Chicago’s Lightweight #WomenofBoxing #NextGenChamp Jessica McCaskill when her original debut bout on July 10th fell off due to opponent issues. It only extended her camp and preparation for the start of very promising career.

Finally making her debut at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, IN this Saturday, McCaskill is set to face another debut fighter in Tyrea Duncan of Michigan. The show is promoted by Hitz Boxing.

Duncan poses some unknown variables since she has no known boxing experience while making the jump from mixed martial arts, formerly fighting in XFO and TWC (Total Warrior Combat).

Nonetheless, Team McCaskill is prepared for whatever comes their way.

We sat down with McCaskill as she finishes up the last of her preparation.
