Northwest Chicagoland’s Sarah French made the choice to bypass 2016 Golden Gloves for professional ranks and to decimate the middle divisions.

I officially met her at an amateur show in the Chicagoland area in late 2015, where I named her the “Dominator of the Night” for her relentlessly pounding of  her opponent for 3 brutal rounds. Her movement hindered any offensive threat and added to her infliction of assault.

French trains in a mixed combat sports discipline gym that allows boxers/fighters to get specialized and exclusive training. Teammates of many combat disciplines kept raving of her progress and prospects since the choice was made to jump to the next level. Her motivation and ethic in on the increase, awaiting that debut matchup – hammering on pads, sparring opponents, improving the craft in the fashion of one of her favorite boxers… “Iron” Mike Tyson.

We get a chance to hang out and observe a little workout with French while assisting teammate Nick Ramirez prepare for his upcoming bout.
